AGNES Hybrid Rugosa Saunders 1900
Although she can be a testy old lady to get established; Agnes is well worth the effort. This beauty can grow to 7' tall and wide. The deep green foliage is very unique as it's foliage is shinny and crinkled adding contrast to the pale lemon yellow, double blossoms. This also adds interest when blooming is finished blooming in early summer. Agnes does not repeat in fall. The fragrance is wonderful. Hardy to zone 3
Agnes is one of very few yellow rugosa roses that is really winter hardy and disease resistant to blackspot.

Agnes will not be available until fall'09. Because she does not root well we offer her on bud grafted, rose multiflora rootstock # 1 plants bare-root.
