Old Heirloom Roses is a mail order nursery growing the Griffith Buck Roses on their own roots. As very few nurseries propagate them this way the demand is very high. All our Buck roses are one year roses on their own roots.

AUNT HONEY: One of our favourites from Griffith Buck! A medium pink shrub rose bearing 4"-5" very double pink, high centered blooms in clusters of 5 to 10 blooms. Deep carmine pink buds open into pale rose blooms. Highly fragrant. Very healthy and disease resistant! An erect growing bush to3'_4' . Repeat blooms until frost.

BRIGHT MELODY(1984) Medium red shrub. The ovoid-pointed ruby red open to double (25-35 petals), shallow-cupped, 4.5" blooms that lighten to dark rose bengal as they age. The blooms are borne in clusters of 1-20. Sweet fragrance. Foliage is healthy, dark olive green. Plant is erect, bushy and free-branching. Blooms freely till frost.The plants are crown hardy to zone 4b.

COUNTRY DANCER (BUCK 1973)A very popular rose with large, deep rose pink, double blooms of exquisite color.Large 4.5" open blooms are born in cluster. Foliage is large,glossy and healthy. Grows 3' x3'on it's own roots & 4' x 4' grafted. Crown hardy to Zone 4

EARTH SONG: (Grandaflora) Blooms are double,(25-30 petals)large 4.5" of medium to light pink adorn this vigorous, erect plant. Blooms are born in clusters of 1-6 and have a wonderful fruity fragrance. Dark green, glossy foliage and healthy. Erect 4'- 5' bush. Repeats blooms until frost.Crown hardy to zone 4.

GOLDEN UNICORN (1985)Long, pointed buds born in clusters of 8 open into large 4" blooms of yellow/orange with tips of petals a shrimp red. Very unique colour. Sweet fragrance. Good disease tolerance. Leathery, olive green foliage. Vigorous, upright bush 3' high by 3' wide. Crown hardy to zone 4.

HAWKEYE BELLE (1975) Double blooms of white blended with azalea pink. High centered, hybrid Tea form blooms are about 4.5”. Highly fragrant. Upright, bushy plant grows 4' x 3'. Healthy, deep green with coppery color young foliage. Good disease resistance. Repeats well all season.

HI NEIGHBOR (Grandaflora)Deep crimson buds open into double (45 petals) slightly cupped flowers born in clusters of 1-6. Lovely fragrance. Upright bush grows to 4 ft.Blooms until frost.

Music Maker :(1973 Buck Shrub)- Double blooms in small clusters of the most loveliest mauve pink are fragrant and plentiful. Helthy, vigorous bush gorws about 3" tall & wide. Crown hardy to zones 4 with protection.

Prairie Harvest:(1985) (Buck shrub rose) Fragrant, clusters of 4.5” medium yellow with lighter outer petals. Born in small clusters of 4 to 5 it blooms continously. Upright but bushy growth with glossy, medium green foliage. Crown Hardy to zone 4

PRAIRIE PRINCESS (BUCK 1972) Listed in climbers also- One of the most popular of the Buck roses! sure wish we could keep this one in stock! Very vigorous, upright bush can be grown as a climber or tall shrub. Long pointed buds of deep pink open into large 4", semi-double coral pink blooms.Lovely fragrance. Repeats well. Healthy foliage and disease resistance. Crown hardy to zone 4.

PRAIRIE STAR (BUCK 1975)Buck Shrub Rose" The loveliest shade of ivory with just a hint of pink in the innermost petals make this rose one of our favorites. Large, high centered, double pale cream blooms with a tinge of pink. Lovely fragrance. Upright bush that grows 3'x 3". Very healthy and disease resistant bush. Repeats well. Crown hardy to zone 4.

SERENDIPITY: (1978) Semi-double 4.5” flowers of orange blend into apricot yellow fading to pink with age are born in cluster of 5-15. Nice sweet fragrance. Foliage is glossy and dark green. Bush is upright and spreading. Repeats very well. Healthy and good disease resistance.

SUMMER WIND (BUCK 1975)"shrub rose"Orange to appricot rose. Clusters of up to 25, 4.5" single blooms of orange/pink adorn this vigorous, erect bush of 5". Beautiful long, ovoid buds of deep orange. Foliage is glossy green and healthy. Spicy fragrance. Crown hardy to zone 4b.

VIRGINIA REEL Buck Shrub rose Deep pink buds open into cupped large 4"-5" blooms have (35-45 petals) of medium red aging to rose red. Blooms in clusters of 5-10. Lovely fragrance & good repeat flowering. Heaalthy, upright plant of 3'.

Wild Ginger: (1976 grandaflora rose) Vigorous, erect 4’ plant blooms continuously until frost. Orange blend, double flowers are born in clusters of 4-10. Blooms are somewhat flat and are veined with lemon yellow at the base of each petal. Nice fruity fragrance. Foliage is leathery deep green and is somewhat susceptible to black spot. Great garden rose for plenty of blooms and fragrance!

Winter Sunset Large, 4" double blooms of orange/yellow blend with a darker inside.Blooms born in small clusters. VEry good cut rose with lots of fragrance. Healthy and shiny dark olive green foliage. Crown hardy to zone 4.
