Damask before 1832
A very beautiful and wonderfully fragrant rose of old. Flowers are bright, medium pink with the loose petals forming very double blooms. Being a Spring Damask rose it blooms only once a year but has the longest blooming time of most old roses. Being a Damask rose the fragrance is incredible! Large bush grows about 5' tall and 3.5' wide. Can get lanky so a light prunning of established bushes immediately after blooming is of great benifit. Hardy to zone 4b. Some winterkill in zones 4b & below.
