Below are our newest ornamental shrubs and roses growing at the nursery. They are all on
their own roots and in one gallon pots. Most are PPAF and can't be shipped to the U.S. so
they are only sold in Canada. Pick them up at the nursery or we can ship accross Canada in
pots.

Rosa "Felix LeClerc"2007(Artist Series Roses),First rose released from the new
Artist series of roses. Electric pink 4" blooms in clusters cover this upright growing
winter hardy bush. Excellent disease resistancy. Good repeat blooming.
We have three year, own root plants this year. Potted at the farm or bare-root mail
order in april & early May.
Rosa"Gizmo™' makes a perfectly rounded mound and small plant just chock full of
wonderful glossy green leaves. The small, single blooms are very "eye-catching" to
say the least and cover the bush with the brightest scarlet orange. A most unique
and striking color that is set off by the contrastings bright white eyes. A catchy
display of very long lived blooms for every landscape. The most popular single
miniature rose today. Height 12-18 inches and hardy zones 5-10.(PPAF)
Rosa "Home Run TM" A hybrid of Knockout™, Home Run is a shrub rose that's
covered in blooms from summer until frost with a minimum of effort on your part.
Plant is vigorous, bushy and full of glossy green foliage and burgundy new growth.
Repeats very well when in full sun. Winter hardy to zone 4. 3" x 3"
Rosa "Prairie Star"Buck '1975 Light yellow shrub. The large, ovoid-pointed buds
open to double (45-60 petals), cupped, 3.5-4 inch blooms of pale chrome yellow
which pale with age. The blooms have a green apple fragrance and are borne in
clusters of 5-10. Healthy, dark green glossy foliage. This  vigorous, bushy plant is
erect and blooms from  mid June until late fall here in N.S. own roots,  zone 5.
Rosa "What A Peach"Warner'2000 - Unique peach coloured miniature,double
blooms 3", are born in  clusters. Georgeous deep burgundy new growth (leaves and
canes). Repeats very well all summer. Light fruity fragrance. Growth habit is upright
so it won't spred out much when planted. 2' x 2.5'. "own roots" hardy to zone 5.
Hydrangea "Qucikfire"A breakthrough plant that blooms more than a month earlier
than other varieties. Blooms in late May - early June and turns to a rich deep pink
early in the summer. Red stems and a vigorous grower. Full Sun.10' x 10'. Zone 4.
Hydrangea "Limelight" Extraordinary new hardy hydrangea with a unique lime green
flowers. Excellent vigor and neat smaller shrub for large containers. 6' x 6'. Zone 4
Physocarpus "Center Glow" Amazing new ninebark that has a beautiful gold
centered with purple edged new foliage all season long. The contrast is outstanding!!

Physocarpus "Summer Wine " Lovely new Ninebark with compact branching and
fine deeply cut, dark crimson leaves. Pinkish/white button like flowers adron it in mid
summer.
Sambucus nigra "Black Beauty" Deep, glossy and finely textured purple foliage that
will hold all summer long not just in spring. Attractive cluster of pink and white
flowers in late June early July followed by black berries in late fall. 8' x 6'. Suggested
uses: In shrub border, to attract birds, as specimen planting. Hardy to zone 3.
Salix purpureum nana - Dwarf blue leaf artic willow is an excellent choice for a low
growing hedge. Bluishe/green,slender leaves contrast wonderfully against the
red-purple stems. Great winter interest also!. Dense, well rounded shrub Grows 4'
by 5 '. Hardy to zone 3. Excellent in wet areas and stream banks.

Weigela "Midnight Wine" Perfect for a garden border this dwarf, ornamental shrub
is has a  low growing and mounding habit.  It's dark burgundy-purple foliage and
pink flowers are a lovely contrast. Full sun for best purple colour. Grows 2' x 2.5'.
Hardy to zone 4.
