| This was the first rose to be patented. Itself, a sport of Dr. Van Fleet and almost identical to it with the exception of New Dawn's reblooming capabilities (it blooms on this years wood versus last years). Very beautiful, soft pink blooms are semi-double with long petals. Blooms are born in clusters on a healthy vigorous bush. Light fragrance. Reblooms reliably. Foliage is a deep very shiny green. Disease resistant. New Dawn is probably the most favoured and popular climbing rose of all times |

| Hardy to zone 5. Needs protection for canes above 5' in winter so as not to winterkill above this height. Blooms on this years wood. |
